In Bashkiria, a court sentenced a young man to mandatory I work for publishing a leaflet on a social network calling for violence against Jews.
August 13, 2014 Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Bashkortostan announced the indictment sentence to an 18-year-old resident of the city of Oktyabrsky.
The court found him guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as the humiliation of human dignity).
According to the investigation and the court, in September 2013 he published a leaflet on VKontakte aimed at inciting hatred against Jews and calling for violence against them.
Given the guilty plea by the defendants and the fact that the crime was committed when the young person was still a minor, the court sentenced him to 100 hours of compulsory work.
