© Art Pictures StudioDirector Valery Gai Germanicus does not intend to reproduce his film “Yes, yes” and will post it on the case if he is not allowed to wide rental in Russia.
This was reported by ITAR-TASS by the PR director of Art Pictures Studio Anna Trecheva.
In June, the film "Yes and Yes" received a prize for the best directing and a prize of Fipression at the 36th Moscow International Film Festival. From June 28 to 30, before the entry into force of the law on the prohibition of obscene vocabulary in the theater, literature, concerts and in the cinema, the picture was demonstrated in the original voice acting.
“Now we are waiting for autumn when, perhaps, amendments to the law will be accepted,” the PR director explained. “If this happens, the picture can be released, we really hope for it.”
Treshcheva added that the film will not be re -sound, despite the law on the prohibition of the mat in works of art. “Germanicus is convinced that this will affect the artistic integrity of the picture,” she explained.
According to the PR director, if the amendments are still not accepted, the film "will be sold via the Internet or will be released on DVD." She said that no special guidance in Moscow is planned.
“In addition, we cannot show the tape at Russian festivals without having a rental certificate,” Treshcheva added. At the same time, the possibility of participation of the film in foreign film festivals is preserved.
