In Altai, parents who taught their children in a Bishkek madrasah were punished

In Altai, parents were held accountable for not who stopped teaching children in the madrasah of Bishkek, where teaching was conducted “from the standpoint Tablighi Jamaat.

On August 21, 2014, the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Altai reported that what about bringing to administrative responsibility the residents of Kosh-Agach district, whose children studied in the madrasah of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the prosecutor's office, in the Bishkek madrasah named after. Abdullah ibn Musud, where two teenagers from Kosh-Agach district studied, “training carried out from the standpoint of the international religious association "Tablighi Jamaat”, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned on territory of the Russian Federation" .

Due to the fact that parents did not stop teaching children in this madrasah, the commission on juvenile affairs of the district administration considered them guilty under Part 1 of Art. 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (non-performance or improper performance parents or other legal representatives of minor duties content, education, training, protection of the rights and interests of minors). They were given a warning.

As a reminder, we consider it unlawful to ban the Tablighi Jamaat movement in Russia, since its members do not preach violence and there is no evidence that they are involved in violent practices.
