"Extremism" from the site "Svetoch"

In August 2014, in the Belgorod region, the brochure "The Testimony of ISUS CHRIST" was recognized as extremist material.

August 26, 2014 year it became known that the Sverdlovsk District Court of the Belgorod Region recognized extremist material brochure "Testimony of Jesus Christ". The court's decision did not enter into force.

The court considered that the text contained statements calling for enmity with representatives of other religions and encouraging such actions.

Text titled "Evidence ISUS CHRIST" posted on the Internet at svetoch.org. This is a small essay written with using pre-reform spelling (however, with errors), most of all resembles the work of a mentally ill person and, in short, is intended to affirm the truth version of Christianity revealed to an anonymous author, and the falsity of all other denominations.

We believe the court's decision is unlawful, since propaganda of the superiority of one's religion over others cannot be considered a sign of extremism, as this contrary to both the law and common sense, and no calls for We have not been able to detect violence in the text.
