The beginning of the theater season in Pskov turned out to be promising
The performance of the “taming of the obstinate” of the Alexandrinsky Theater, shown on the stage of the Pskov Academic Drama Theater named after A. S. Pushkin, resembles a big watch,
In which not only the dial is visible, but also the internal device - countless mechanisms. At first, this distracts and confuses, creates a confusion. But then the eyes get used to it. Pin, flickering and moving no longer interfere with perception. The clock does not cease to be for hours. They show the time accurate, but, in addition, they turn some familiar things inside out.
"The tour should be full -fledged"

The performance “Taming of the obstinate” director Oscaras Korshunovas was brought to Pskov on August 26, 2014 thanks to the Big Touring program, prepared with the participation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The artistic director of the Russian State Academic Drama Theater named after A. S. Pushkin (Alexandrinsky Theater) Valery Fokin.
About five years ago in the Alexandrinsky Theater, I asked Valery Fokin about the possibility of a tour in Pskov. Then he regarded such an opportunity in the near future as the minimum, answering: “The theater should come for real. The tour should be full -fledged. ” At that time, he said that full -fledged tour is when all his props is brought, the scenery, and the troupe arrives not for one day and in full force. The director then on this occasion remembered the words of the nameless hotel maid from Yekaterinburg. She responded respectfully about Alexandrinka: “The real theater arrived. With your dwarfs! " Not the locals were rented, but with their own!
After that conversation, I wrote: “The dwarfs, for example, will still fit on the stage of our Pskov drama theater. But here are huge scenery ... "
After the reconstruction of the Pskov drama theater, much has changed. The Alexandrinsky Theater came for real-showing not concerts, but full-fledged performances. And in the first performance he gathered a full hall.
True, in the second performance (“Sunny Bun” by the director Irina Keruchenko on Ivan Bunin), shown on August 28, the hall was empty. But only because it is empty that fifty spectators, according to the directing plan, settled on the stage, where the action was played.
But the play “The taming of the obstacle”, on the contrary, began not on the stage, but right in the hall. In the light of the chandelier, the first phenomenon was demonstrated - the phenomenon of the “tipsy viewer”, eager for the beautiful. It was a beaten technique, but it worked. Many of the spectators who did not know about this staging were believed.
So, a certain guy with a bottle of “whiskey” burst into the hall, plopped down on a bail room, just standing in front of me, and began to bother with a girl who looked like an employee of the theater (“White Verkh - Dark Bottom”). She unsuccessfully persuaded the "sudden theater" to go out. The "sudden theater" rested, and the further - the louder, all the time approaching the stage. It was no longer a decent girl, but a real spectator. She clearly took everything for a clean coin. In the end, the guy (Valentin Zakharov) reached the stage and there opened the cards to those who were too trusting. He is an artist. But from time to time, the “sudden theater” with a bottle again fell into the image, continuing to portray the viewer from the Pskov outskirts (he liked the name of the Cross of the microdistrict), eager for art.
Gradually, Valentin Zakharov reincarnated into the Shakespearean copper, Christopher Sli. In the hall they repaid light. But the action in the auditorium did not end.
The noisy and somewhat chaotic beginning of someone embarrassed. The first person, snorting, broke from a place in the stalls after about half an hour. After some time, a roar rang out. It was in the aisle that a girl fell, trying to leave the hall with a young man in the dark. She stumbled, fell and hit hard. We helped her to rise, and the girl, pouring high heels, left the hall.
Someone reaches for art, and someone-on fresh air (in the cross of crosses?).
"It is important not to dance on the bones of the author"

Meanwhile, life was in full swing on the stage. It was what was said by his lecture, held at the Theater Museum, the rector of the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts, Alexander Chepurov. According to Alexander Chepurov: “The emphasized theatricality is characteristic of Alexandrinka. By Alexandrinsky actors, it’s easier to manipulate on stage. ”
Director Oskaras Korshunovas and his entire Lithuanian team - Yuraita Paulekite (scenography), Gintaras Visoika (composer), Agnes Kuzmitsyca (costumes), Eugenius Sabalyauskas (artist), along with the actors of the Alexandrinsky Theater, created a dense three -hour performance in accordance with the Pushkin statement about the theater, which is true It is not for life, but artistic.
The artistic truth in it was more than enough.
As the artistic director of the Alexandrinsky Theater Valery Fokin said on the day of the performance: the audience will see “a kind of imagination, or a dream, or reality ...” and Fokin began to talk about “theater as a healthy sleep”.
The dream was healthy in every sense. Big three -hour sleep.
Oscaras Korshunovas did not ignore the introduction of the Shakespearean play. He pushed away from her. The beginning of the play, which is often not noticed, was the basis of everything that happened further. The wrapped Christopher Slah is grabbing and ruthlessly playing out.
Take it. Let's play a joke!
Bring to the best of the rooms in the house,
District voluptuous paintings,
Rinse the head for him
Inflated water with water,
Light fragrant smokes;
Let music, as soon as he wakes up,
The heavenly melody will sound.
The poor fellow wakes up, and respectful worships are waking up and pleadedly ask: "What will your Grace order?" As if he is not a copper, “from the District of Crosses”, but a noble lord. Lord (good nickname).
And the glorious is a fun,
It would only be possible to observe the measure.
A measure is the most important thing. Shortly before the Pskov representation of the “taming of the obstacle” Valery Fokin said: “It is important not to dance on the bones of the author, when the author is an occasion. But to kneel before the classics? .. "
The artists of the Alexandrinsky Theater before Shakespeare on their knees are definitely not standing. They dance in front of him, sing (The Beatles, Nikita Theological, bards ...)
The artists are hiding behind mannequins. Only the heads stick out. It turns out either people or dolls. Big dolls. They are the most place in a big dream. The heads can be rearranged as if in the designer. And the bodies remain. Only the horse has no head - only smoke sometimes falls from the hole.
Every now and then jokes are heard - internal and external.
With the advent of Katarina (Alexander Bolshakov) and Bianca (Maria Zimina), the movement is gradually streamlined. When they first arise on stage, finally some harmony occurs. From this moment, the performance is only growing.
Not only the Baptists' daughter tame, but the chaos that was before. The duet Petruccio (Dmitry Lysenkov) and Katarina acts like the mentioned clock, but it is important to add that the clock should be chess, at the moment when blitz is played. Lunge for lunge.
We see European virtuosity and innocent eroticism. A huge number of interconnected little things. They could be drowned in them, if not for feelings. They push them to the surface.
The salvation of the taming is the work of the taming themselves.
“Big tour” in Pskov succeeded for the reason that not only performances were shown, but also lectures (master classes), including an extremely informative master class of Marina Baghdasaryan with Radio Culture. He was dedicated to visual and auditory perception. We listened to excerpts from radio shows and each retold what seemed to us.
The “taming of the obstinate” Oscaras Korshunovas is not a radio theater, but the auditory perception in it is also very important.
Here and there, not only voluptuous paintings arise, but also voluptuous sounds.
A good theater taps.
