The head of the Jewish community of Omsk went to court, trying to challenge the FMS decision to expel him from the country.
On September 4, 2014, it became known that the Chief Rabbi of Omsk, Osher Krichevsky, filed a claim with the Kuibyshevsky District Court of the city against the regional department of the Federal Migration Service. The rabbi is trying to challenge the FMS decision on deportation.
“We hope to at least suspend the decision of the migration service. It was not possible to come to an agreement with the leadership of the department or get any explanations from them,” said O. Krichevsky.
Let us remind you that earlier the FMS canceled the residence permit of the head of the Jewish community of Omsk.
On September 17, the Kuibyshevsky District Court of Omsk began considering the claim.
