On September 12, 2014, 63-year-old Nail Mikeev was convicted in Ulyanovsk for making comments on the Internet. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred, enmity, as well as humiliation of a group of persons on the basis of nationality, committed in public).
Recall that Nail Mikeev was previously convicted of inciting ethnic hatred. In 2012-2013 the man compiled texts in different languages " aimed at inciting hatred and enmity towards people who do not profess Islam " and published under the pseudonyms "Nailkhan Tatar Khθmmətkhan", "Idris Khan", "NailkhanJihadshah", comments " causing hostility, hatred and hostility to the way of life and traditions of Russians ", in social networks and on the pages of Internet resources. According to the conclusion of a comprehensive psychological and linguistic forensic examination, the materials "contain information expressing negative emotional assessments regarding Russians as a national group" .
The court sentenced Mikeev to 300 hours of compulsory work.
