The suspect tried to escape from justice on the railroad. Colleagues from St. Petersburg turned to the Trans-Baikal transport police for assistance. A criminal case under part 1 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed with the use of weapons based on political ideological, racial, national or religious hatred), Chita police detained him on a passenger train when he and his wife tried to leave for Moscow. The suspect has been taken into custody. He was placed in a pre-trial detention center in the city of Chita.
