A search was carried out in the building of the Church of Scientology in St. Petersburg

The Church of Scientology in St. Petersburg was searched. Search was conducted in the case of one of the parishioners, suspected of embezzlement and translating them into the needs of the church.

September 25, 2014 employees of the Department of Economic security and anti-corruption department of the Admiralty Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and operatives Center "E" searched the building of the Church of Scientology in St. Petersburg on the street. Rosenstein.

The search was carried out as part of an initiative initiated in early September criminal case under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (large-scale fraud). Case filed against the head of the Olimp group of companies, Ekaterina Zaborskikh.

According to the investigation, E. Zaborskikh transferred funds shareholders of "Olympus" in the amount of several million rubles for the needs of the Scientology church of which she is a member.
