Parishioners of a Moscow mosque free a Muslim man detained by police

Parishioners of a mosque in Moscow stormed a police bus to free a detained believer.

On September 26, 2014, police officers detained one of parishioners of the mosque on Bolshaya Tatarskaya street. The rest of the parishioners managed to fight off him from the police.

The believers surrounded the police bus, where they placed detainee and demanded his release. The men tried to find out if they had been beaten detainee. From the audience was delegated a representative admitted to the bus. He said that the detainee was not beaten, but only grabbed by the hand, although he the detainee managed to say that he was beaten.

Part of the audience shouted "Allah Akbar". Then believers began to storm the bus and eventually secured the release of their co-religionist.

Later it became known that the participants in the storming of the bus arrested by riot police. For all detainees, a decision was made to administrative arrest, and a criminal case was initiated against two of them under Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against a representative of authority).
