Smolensk region: the investigation into the case of publishing xenophobic materials on a social network has been completed

In October 2014, in the Smolensk region, a case of a 17-year-old local resident who posted xenophobic materials directed against Jews and people from the Caucasus.

In October 2014 in the Smolensk region was completed investigation of the case of inciting ethnic hatred (Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code).

A 17-year-old local will soon be in the dock a resident who is accused of being from January to April of the previous year published on his page in the social network "VKontakte" materials, calling for violence against Jews and people from the Caucasus.

The young man fully admitted his guilt. The point is already referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
