The Leninsky District Court of the city of Ivanovo passed a sentence on a 19-year-old student of the law faculty of Ivanovo State University. She was convicted under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity).
It was established that from February 22, 2013 to January 16, 2014, the girl on the VKontakte social network posted in free access " images (Nazi swastika) and texts, the content of which is aimed at inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliating the dignity of a person or a group of persons on the basis of race, nationality .
In addition, in July 2013, on the fence of the construction site and on the wall of the heating system, she painted a swastika with a can of black paint and wrote xenophobic inscriptions calling for violence.
The girl fully admitted her guilt in the crimes. She painted over the inscriptions on the fence and the wall.
The court on the totality of crimes sentenced the girl to a fine of 120 thousand rubles.
