Kazakh video hosting is no longer “extremist”

The court of second instance satisfied the appeal of representatives of the Kazakh video hosting www.kiwi.kz against the decision of the Pyatigorsk city court, which recognized the hosting as extremist.

Thus, the site should be excluded from the Federal list of extremist materials, and access to it in Russia is unblocked.

We welcome this decision of the court. Recall that video hosting was banned in a number of other similar sites, since the city prosecutor's office of Pyatigorsk found on it a video lecture by Sheikh Khalid Yassin recognized as extremist "Alien". Yasin's lecture was banned by the Leninsky District Court Krasnodar June 18, 2012 (see item 1455 of the Federal List extremist materials ). We consider this ban unlawful.
