Moscow Muslims intend to protect the rights of female medical students

On October 23, 2014, it became known that Muslims outraged by the order of the rector of the Medical University. N.I. Pirogov, signed on September 10, 2014 and regulating the appearance of students.

The document says that wearing clothes that " indicate belonging to any nationality or religion (including national headdresses) ”, as well as clothing that is “ capable of offend the political (!) and religious feelings of others ”, is not allowed.

Muslim students believe that the document violates their rights.

Representatives The Council of Muftis of Russia also indicate that the order is contrary to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. They intend to invite the rector of the medical school to approve the decision to develop special headwear for muslim girls.
