Mufti of the Yekaterinburg mosque "Ramazan" and the DUM Sverdlovsk region was fined for materials found in the mosque, included in Federal list of extremist materials.
On October 31, 2014, it became known that the Mufti Mosque "Ramadan" Ravil Mamleev and the DUM of the Sverdlovsk Region (Ekaterinburg Muftiate) were found guilty under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (production and distribution extremist materials) and fined a total of 52,000 rubles. The decision has not yet entered into force. Imam of the mosque Albert Bayazitov was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violations of the legislation on countering extremism.
Recall the case against the Mufti was initiated in September 2014, after check in the mosque "Ramadan" were found various materials (brochures, books, feature film discs, audio recordings), included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
Which editions are in question is still unknown. However the fact that the materials were in the study hall, in the room of the imam, the rest room in open bookcases, suggests that we are talking about texts and videos deemed extremist wrongfully.
