"Russian March"-2014 in St. Petersburg

November 4 In 2014, in St. Petersburg several "Russian marches" took place - "Patriotic March", rally "For the Slavic unity”, an unauthorized “Russian walk” along Nevsky Prospekt and pickets in support of the unauthorized “Russian March”. Part nationalists from the National Socialist Initiative (NSI), led by leader Dmitry (Schultz) Bobrov (NSI) went to march to Moscow in Lyublino .

In the "Patriotic March" , a procession that started from the Gorkovskaya station, along according to the observers of the SOVA center, about 1500-1800 people took part. The party "Motherland" was the organizer. Fyodor Andreev spoke about the split of the national movement in St. Petersburg over the Ukrainian issue. Before the start of the procession, organizer Dina Garina (head of the press service of the St. Petersburg branch of the Russian association) greeted those who came to show that they were Russians, disagreed with the Putin regime, and also announced that the procession would be held under the slogan "Russia - Russian power ! At the Fontanka embankment, the procession was stopped by OMON officers. Most of the marchers managed to run away, but six people (including two minors), including organizer Dina Garina, were detained. Everyone, except for Garina, was released in the evening, having been charged with Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding mass events). Dina Garina was released the next day with a similar protocol.

Along with the unauthorized march, several pickets were held on Nevsky Prospect in support of the unauthorized Russian March. 4 people stood with imperial flags and a poster "Freedom to Belov". The participants handed out leaflets in support of the arrested Alexander Belov.
