In Chelyabinsk, the investigation into the creation of an extremist community has been completed. The case materials have been sent to court.
On November 6, 2014, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the completion of the investigation into the criminal case initiated against Temrkhan Tleugabilov, a 23-year-old resident of Chelyabinsk, who is accused of creating a terrorist organization and creating an extremist community.
Criminal cases have been initiated against T. Tleugabilov under Part 1 of Art. 205.1 (assistance with terrorist activities), Part 1 of Art. 205.2 (public calls for terrorist activities), Part 1 of Art. 205.4 (creation of a terrorist community), Part 1 of Art. 280 (public calls for extremist activities), Part 1 of Art. 282 (incitement of religious hatred), Part 1, Art. 282.1 (creation of an extremist community) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to investigators, during 2013-2014 the man held meetings in his apartment, during which he “ convinced participants of the need to create an Islamic state - a caliphate, and to conduct an armed struggle against non-Muslims, law enforcement officers of the Russian Federation and the Syrian Arab Republic .”
The case was sent to court for consideration on the merits.
On November 27, 2014, the consideration of the case of T. Tleugabilov began in the Chelyabinsk Regional Court.
It became known that during the arrest, in addition to religious literature, a small-caliber carbine, more than 900 rounds of ammunition, a double-barreled shotgun and a smooth-bore shotgun with 14 cartridges were confiscated from the defendant.
