Moscow: attack on Ataka continues

In November 2014, Moscow became aware of the appearance in the case of an ultra-right group "Attack" three more new suspects. One arrested, one sent under house arrest, the third is under house arrest.

On November 17, 2014, the Presnensky District Court of Moscow considered the petition on the arrest of two suspects in the case of the ultra-right organization "Attack" of Roman Chernikov and Thomas Paipalas.

The motion of the prosecution was granted in part. By judge R. Chernikov was arrested until January 1, 2015, but T. Paipalas was sent to jail instead under house arrest, as he has two children and an unemployed wife.

Also in November, it became known about the appearance in the case new, fifth suspect - Sergei Sukhanov. Previously, he was prosecuted as witness. A written undertaking not to leave was taken from him.

Recall that at the end of October, the court arrested two more members of the "Attack" Stanislav Mityaev and Vladimir Tkach.

Young people, depending on the video of each, are charged with inciting ethnic hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code), the creation of an extremist organization (part 1 of article 282.1 of the Criminal Code), participation in an extremist organization (part 2 of article 282.1 of the Criminal Code) and vandalism motivated by national hatred (part 2 of article 214 of the Criminal Code).

According to investigators, young people participated in the creation of an ultra-right Attack movement, whose main task was the violent overthrow of current government in Russia. It is reported that young people promote their ideas and their associates carried out through social networks, as well as posted flyers and stickers. The suspects themselves claim that they acted within the law. and even from new members of the organization they took a subscription in which they pledged comply with the laws of the Russian Federation.
