The authorities of St. Petersburg are ready to transfer the construction of the temple from Malinovka Park to another territory.
November 23, 2014 in St. Petersburg in the park Malinovka hosted another protest against the construction of the church. In the event 500 people took part. The reason for the event can be considered a meeting with Vice-Governor Marat Oganesyan, who is ready to defend the interests of the townspeople.
"We will look for an alternative site - don't worry, we won't build in the park,” he told the meeting participants.
According to the vice-governor, the construction committee has already prepared a draft resolution government canceling the allocation of the church site. However, the document is not yet accepted.
