Right-wing radical convicted in Norilsk

N. Babushkin was convicted under Part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities).

According to the materials of the case , Babushkin posted freely on his page on the social network " text and images calling for the implementation of extremist activities ."

The court sentenced the right-wing radical to punishment in the form of corrective labor with execution of punishment at the place of work with deduction of 5% of earnings to the state revenue, conditionally with a probationary period of 1 year.

The verdict did not enter into force.

Previously Nikolai Babushkin was convicted under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting a national hatred) for posting nationalist materials in "Odnoklassniki". The activist was included in the list of terrorists and extremists Rosfinmonitoring, and his bank accounts are blocked.
