Convicted for videos on social networks

In Saratov, Anatoly Danilov was convicted for anti-Caucasus videos and comments on social networks.

On December 23, 2014, the Zavodskoy District Court of Saratov sentenced 25-year-old Anatoly Danilov under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred or enmity) for anti-Caucasian videos and comments on social networks.

According to investigators, from December 14, 2013 to March 27, 2014 and May 29, the young man published freely available materials on the social network under the name "Anatoly Ivanov."

During the preliminary investigation, Danilov admitted his guilt and explained that "previously he had conflicts and had developed a hostile attitude towards people of Caucasian nationality."

As the convict told the "Sova" center, the Zavodskoy District Court sentenced him to 5 months of corrective labor.
