Kurgan: a criminal case regarding xenophobic calls on the Odnoklassniki network has been brought to court

In December 2014 in Kurgan against a 25-year-old local a resident, a criminal case was initiated on public calls for extremism for posting xenophobic statements on social networks. In March 2015, the investigation into the case was completed.

In December 2014, a criminal case was initiated in Kurgan according to part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism).

The case was initiated against a 25-year-old local resident, whom he is suspected of having posted on the Odnoklassniki social network xenophobic statements calling for violence based on national and religious hatred.

Unfortunately, we do not know the details.

In March 2015, the case was referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
