Navalny's website is blocked

On January 13, 2015, Roskomnadzor blocked the entire website of Alexei Navalny.

On January 13, 2015, information appeared that Roskomnazor completely blocked the website of Alexei Navalny navalny.com. It is reported that the blocking was made on the basis of the decision Prosecutor General's Office #27-27-2014/ID4251-14.

At the same time, the resource is not listed in the Unified Register of Prohibited Site Information.

Foundations locks are not yet known.

In March 2014, was blocked Navalny's blog in LiveJournal (subsequently recognized as justified). At the end of 2014 in the "registry Lugovoi" was introduced news from navalny.com about changing the date of the announcement of the verdict to the Navalny brothers.

In our opinion, the blocking of Navalny's website is illegal. It confirms that the law on extrajudicial blocking of sites is applied by the authorities in an extensive, arbitrary and inconsistent way, without regard to its exact content.

On January 14, 2015, Navalny's lawyers filed a complaint against the blocking of the site with the Tagansky District Court of Moscow. In addition, applications were submitted to the Prosecutor General's Office and Roskomnadzor in order to find out the reason for the blocking.
