In January 2015, two residents of Vladivostok were fined for posting Hitler's book online.
Internet users "shared" the text of Adolf Hitler's book "Mein Kampf" in the file-sharing network "SharaDC++" ("SHARA"), thereby giving free access for downloading to an indefinite circle of people.
The prosecutor opened cases on an administrative offense under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution of extremist materials included in the published federal list of extremist materials, as well as their storage for the purpose of mass distribution).
The court fined both Internet users.
