In Omsk, a case against the head of the Old Believers-Englings was brought to court

In Omsk, a criminal case has been sent to court against the head of the Omsk Old Believers-Inglings, 53-year-old Alexander Khinevich.

The prosecutor of the Omsk region approved the indictment in a criminal case against 53-year-old Alexander Khinevich. He is charged under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of a religious association in respect of which a court has made a final decision to liquidate or ban activities in connection with the implementation of extremist activities).

It was established that in the period from June 2009 to January 2014, Alexander Khinevich organized in the Omsk region, and on the Internet, the activities of the liquidated extremist religious organizations "Asgard Slavic Community of the Spiritual Administration of the Asgard Vesya Belovodye of the Old Russian Inglistic Church of Orthodox Old Believers - Ynglings"; "Slavic Community of the Temple of the Veda of Perun of the Spiritual Administration of the Asgardian Vesi of Belovodye of the Old Russian Ynglistic Church of the Orthodox Old Believers - Ynglings"; "Men's Theological Seminary Higher Theological Institution of Professional Religious Education of the Old Russian Ynglistic Church of Orthodox Old Believers - Ynglings". Khinevich led religious associations, and attracted new members to them. He administered Internet resources previously created on his initiative, where he distributed religious materials on a reimbursable basis.

The case was investigated by the investigative department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Omsk region.

The criminal case was sent to the Central District Court of Omsk for consideration on the merits.
