"Program-200" in "new Moscow"

The Russian Orthodox Church intends to build another 150 churches in new territories annexed to Moscow.
February 5, 2015 it became known that on the territory of the "new Moscow" within the "Program-200" it is planned to build 150 Orthodox churches.

Currently, the construction of five of them - "The Tsaritsy" in Shcherbinka, "The Inexhaustible Chalice" in the village of Kievsky, the Resurrection Church in Resurrection, Alexander in Pykhtin and Serafimovsky in Maryino - is already at the final stage. Three more are in the early stages.

Nine plots are already slated for handover to the Church.

The temple in Pykhtin is being built on a plot of 1.35 hectares, owned by the head of the Morton company. After finishing construction, he intends to donate the site and the building of the Russian Orthodox Church churches.
