The collection of signatures against the installation of a monument to Prince Vladimir has been announced

The authors of the petition point out that the erection of the monument on the observation deck and the transfer of part of the territory of the Vorobyovy Gory state nature reserve to the Gorky Central Park of Culture and Culture violate the law and do not comply with safety standards.
In particular, the petition states that the slope of the Vorobyovy Gory and part of the territory adjacent to it belong to the dangerous category of geological risk, since this is a zone of landslide activity, and nothing can be built there. The petition notes that the slopes of the Sparrow Hills are natural monuments that have a unique geological and landscape significance, and violation of the integrity of the slope is prohibited.
The observation deck is part of the protected zone of the cultural monument - "The complex of buildings of Moscow State University. Lomonosov on Sparrow Hills. Recall that Moscow State University is classified as a particularly valuable object of cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation. The security zone is intended not only for the physical safety of the cultural heritage object, but also for the preservation of the visual perception of the object in its historical, urban and natural environment.
