A rally against the Church of Scientology was held in St. Petersburg

In front of the building where the office of the religious organization, about 50 people gathered - local residents and representatives of the public organization "Baltic Youth". The crowd held signs reading “Scientology – cult of power and money!”, “Scientologist lies when he opens his mouth”, “Scientology is the doctrine of the paranoid and the liar" .

“This is not a church, this is a Western Satanic sect that destroys minds and souls of our people. History knows the facts, evidence of the criminal activities of this organization. We must not ignore this problem. We must join forces against the Scientologists and win . " - said the chairman of the "Baltic Youth" Yevgeny Vilner.

“We are against this in our Orthodox country, and we came express your point of view peacefully today. We are worried, this is our area , ”- said the representative of the same organization Natalia.

According to the Nevskoe Vremya news agency, the protesters tried to break into the building, which turned out to be closed. The press secretary came to the audience church Marina Simanina. She recalled that the Church of Scientology operates in Petersburg for 30 years, and said that everyone can visit church on open day.
