Attack on migrants in St. Petersburg

In March 2015, a Nazi skinhead attacked natives of Tajikistan. In early 2015, he also attacked a native of Chechnya.

In March 2013, a teenager attacked two janitors, citizens of Tajikistan, one of whom was 21 years old and the other 15. The attacker asked them for money. After the refusal, the teenager stabbed them several times with a knife. A 15-year-old native of Tajikistan died on the spot. The second janitor received very serious injuries, but managed to survive.

A 17-year-old resident of the city was detained on suspicion of attacking migrants. He admitted his guilt. He was identified by a surviving migrant.

The detainee confessed to attacking a native of Chechnya with a knife in a minibus in early 2015.

According to the head of the 2nd investigative department of the 1st department for investigating especially important cases of the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg, Yuri Yashkov, the detainee "dressed like a skinhead, always carried a knife with him and took it out in any, even a minor conflict, causing damage to his opponents " . He has been arrested and his case is being prepared for trial.
