Protests against Jehovah's Witnesses in March 2015

In several Russian regions in March 2015, “anti-sectarian” actions directed against Jehovah's Witnesses.  

On March 14 and 19, 2015 in Belgorod, activists of the ambulance Orthodox Aid” held “anti-sectarian” pickets in front of the Hall Kingdom of Jehovah's Witnesses, where the meeting of believers took place. The pickets guarded policemen. One of the pickets was attended by a representative of the city administration.

On March 29, 2015, an “anti-sectarian” picket was held in front of building of Jehovah's Witnesses in Syzran. The organizer of the action was the ex-husband of one from believers. The picket was attended by members of the Liberal Democratic Party.

In addition, it became known that in the city of Gavrilov-Yam Yaroslavl region, an Orthodox priest has been pasting leaflets describing the "danger" of Jehovah's Witnesses. This same priest asked the police to take action against Jehovah's Witnesses, but no accusations were made in the statement. The district police officer informed the believers about this police officer.

In Moscow near the Nagornaya metro station in mid-March leaflets of the missionary center of St. Joseph Volotsky were found, containing offensive language about Jehovah's Witnesses.
