Alleged leaders of the Hizb ut-Tahrir cell were detained in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, a criminal case has been opened against two suspects of involvement in Hizb ut-Tahrir.

April 2, 2015 in St. Petersburg on suspicion of involvement two Russian citizens were detained near Hizb ut-Tahrir.

Regarding detainees a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of activities terrorist organization and participation in the activities of such an organization). solved the question of choosing a measure of restraint.
