Attacks on Jehovah's Witnesses in February and March 2015

In February and March 2015, residents of various regions attacked Jehovah's Witnesses on several occasions and prevented them from preaching.

February 11, 2015 in Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, a man pushed two preachers 56 and 68 years old down the stairs, and when they fell, continued hit them on the back and head. The women were forced to go to the emergency room. By a criminal case has been opened on the fact of the beating.

On February 28, in the village of Velikovskoye, Nizhny Novgorod region, those who preached Jehovah's Witnesses - women with children - approached an Orthodox priest to read a passage from the Bible. The priest began to insult the believers and threatened that will persuade his parishioners to destroy the houses of Jehovah's Witnesses. believers contacted the police.

On March 1, in the town of Kozlovka in Chuvashia, a passer-by asked preaching Jehovah's Witness a copy of the Bible, and when he refused to give personal copy, the man hit him on the head with his fist and knocked him into the snow. assailant stopped by his companion.

March 12 in Vesyegonsk, Tver Region, to the Jehovah's Witnesses - a group of Orthodox women approached a married couple, took away all literature and tore it apart. The next day the situation repeated itself.

March 15 in Kirov, Kaluga region, a passer-by dropped the stand and scattered the literature of Jehovah's Witnesses, and hit one of the preachers on face. At the same time, the attacker threatened with reprisals and said that he was a member of the RNU.

On March 15, in Samara, a resident of one of the houses attacked those apartments of preachers aged 61 and 58. He pushed one of the women down the stairs and became beat him, then tore his clothes. At the same time, he insulted the believers. Women went to the emergency room, they promised to report the incident to the police.
