In Kamyshin, Volgograd region, Dmitry Bezrukov was sentenced for xenophobic and obscene comments on a social network. The verdict came into force.
In February 2015, the Kamyshinsk city prosecutor's office supported the state prosecution against 33-year-old Dmitry Bezrukov in the city court. Bezrukov was accused of posting comments on photographs in one of the social networks on the Internet, accompanying them with obscene language and giving a negative description of people of various nationalities .
Bezrukov was sentenced to 10 months. correctional labor with a deduction of 10% of earnings in state revenue.
The defendant appealed against the verdict of the court of first instance on appeal.
The Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Volgograd Regional Court, agreeing with the opinion of the prosecutor's office, confirmed Bezrukov's guilt in committing a crime, under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred and enmity).
The verdict came into force.
