In Sochi, the owner of the Junk Shop was fined for publicly displaying Nazi symbols.
14th of April 2015, it became known that, at the suit of the Sochi prosecutor's office, the owner of the Lavka junk dealer" was fined under Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (public demonstration of Nazi symbols).
Reason for administrative persecution was the fact that in the store for public display was put up for sale military the uniform of a Nazi German Navy cadet, including a cap with an emblem, including the swastika.
We recall that, in our opinion, Art. 20.3 Administrative Code should be applied primarily not to antique dealers, but to modern manufacturers of objects with Nazi and neo-Nazi symbols (badges, clothes, copies of weapons, etc.) and distributors of such products. However, antique dealers should not display Nazi-insignia items for the public to see.
