One of the members of Hizb ut-Tahrir has been charged in St. Petersburg

IN Petersburg charged with Dmitry Mikhailov, suspected of belonging to to Hizb ut-Tahrir.

On April 21, 2015 it became known that Dmitry Mikhailov, one of the Muslims suspected of creating a Hizb cell ut-Tahrir" in St. Petersburg, charged under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization).

Dmitry Mikhailov was taken into custody at the beginning of April 2015 together with Isa Ragimov.

Recall we consider it unlawful to accuse Hizb ut-Tahrir members of propaganda terrorism only on the basis of party activities (holding meetings, reading literature, etc.) and prosecuting them under antiterrorist articles.
