
Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation Vladimir Stepanov hung up that there were no Russians among the victims of the earthquake in Nepal. His words are given by Interfax.
“According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are no Russians among the dead and victims,” Stepanov emphasized. “We also received confirmation that groups of Russian tourists who climbed Everest feel good,” he said.
The first earthquake of magnitude 7.9 occurred on Saturday morning. According to the latest data, about 2 thousand people died. On Sunday, another earthquake of magnitude 6.7 was recorded in the country.
