"Russian May Day"-2015 in Moscow

On May 1, 2015, May Day actions organized by nationalist parties and associations took place in Moscow .

Procession titled "The Will of the Nation - Nationalization!" passed along the route from the Oktyabrskoye Pole metro station to the Shchukinskaya metro station and brought together no more than 170 people.

The event was organized by representatives of the Russian National Front (RNF). Observers Center "Sova" noted during the event the symbols of the following associations:

• Union of Orthodox Banner Bearers (SPH),

• Movement for nationalization, deprivatization of the country's strategic resources",

• Party "Great Russia"

• People's Militia named after Minin and Pozharsky (NOMP), (On February 18, 2015, the Moscow City Court recognized the NOMP as a terrorist organization, therefore it was called the "People's Militia of Russia"),

• Initiative group for holding a referendum "For a responsible power" (IGPR "Call") (former Army of the will of the people),

• Russian Christian-democratic national-social constitutional-monarchical movement (RHDNSKMD),

• Russian imperial movement (RID),

• Union of military sailors,

• Volunteer Families Foundation.

Apart from symbols of associations (activists from the NOMP and IGPR ZOV stated that they were forbidden to carry their symbols), the participants carried a flag with the inscription "No one but us - Airborne Forces", the flag of the Navy, a banner "Prisoners of conscience, you are not forgotten!". In the NOMP column carried photographs of "political prisoners" Georgy Borovikov , Pyotr Molodidov , "Cossack" Yevgeny Strigin, Alexei Kiseleva, Vladimir Tkach and some others.

Event started an hour late. To the beat of drums, the marchers chanted " Putin's gang is on trial!", "Power people!", "There will be Russian power in Russia!", "Do you want a house family, work - vote for a patriot!", "Forward, Russia, - Russians, forward!", "Only Rus' and only victory!", "Kyiv is a Russian city!", "Cancel 282!", "One for all and all for one!", "Moscow is the third Rome!", "Russian oil - into Russian hands!", "Glory to the militias of New Russia! ".

The procession took place without incident and ended with a rally. The rally was led by Kirill Barabash (IGPR "CALL"). Speakers at the rally: Vladimir Filin (movement "For nationalization and deprivatization of the country's strategic resources"), Konstantin Sivkov (movement "For the nationalization and deprivatization of strategic resources of the country"), Vladislav Kuroptev (SPH), Yuri Ekishev ("People's Militia of Russia"), Nadezhda Kvachkova ("People's Militia of Russia"), Pavel Vasiliev (RID), "Russian officer" Valentin Lushin, Andrey Saveliev ("The Great Russia"), Nikolai Kuryanovich (ROS, deputy State Duma from the Liberal Democratic Party (2003-2007)).

In their speeches, the speakers allowed openly xenophobic and anti-state statements. Veteran of Russian nationalism Alexander Ivanov-Sukharevsky turned to the President of the Russian Federation: " Vladimir, are you Russian or not? " that from the crowd they shouted to him: "Jew! ". Kirill Myamlin (a columnist for the portal geopolitica.ru, was introduced as a member of the headquarters of the RNF) stated that " in Ukraine, 26 people in the Rada are entitled to an Israeli passport " and proposed " to rename Radu to the Kiev Knesset ". Elena Rokhlina (Volunteer Families Assistance Fund) spoke about how the prisoner Georgy Borovikov was beaten by the guards in the colony in the Komi Republic, especially emphasizing that the perpetrators were Dagestanis.

Alexander Amelin ("Russian Renaissance") took the stage in T-shirt "Putin is a fascist" and urged the audience to " take pitchforks, machine guns and drive the scum out of Kremlin ." He was detained by the police shortly before the end Events.

Traditional rally on Pushkinskaya , organized by Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), began at 12:00. IN for an hour, the only speaker spoke - as you might guess, Vladimir Zhirinovsky. " There is no solidarity among the Russians ," the speaker lamented. " The Jews have, the Germans don't, and the Russians don't ." As usual, the speaker in negative tones spoke about Ukraine. Also representatives of the unknown Orthodox groups collected help for the children of Novorossia. Another group handed out copyright anti-Ukrainian leaflets by Sergei Lastovetsky, printed on dot-matrix printer.

The "Russians" association also planned to hold a traditional procession at 11:00 that day on the Oktyabrsky field, but it was canceled due to the fact that on April 27, the applicant of the procession, Dmitry Demushkin, was sentenced to 8 days of administrative arrest.
