The existing mosque in Novy Urengoy was demolished

By decision of the authorities of Novy Urengoy, the existing mosque. A shopping center will be built in its place.  

On May 3, 2015, it became known that the authorities of Novy Urengoy demolished the building of the Nur-Islam mosque, which had been operating since 1996.
