Vladimir: a verdict has been handed down in the case of publishing xenophobic photographs on a social network

In June 2015 in Vladimir was issued verdict in the case of inciting ethnic hatred (Part 1, Article 282 of the Criminal Code).

The 41-year-old was in the dock a local resident who was accused of being on May 8 and 10 last year published photos on a social network with captions calling for violence against "non-Slavs".

It is reported that the defendant, being supporter of far-right ideology since 2011, understood that the publication of these photos can be prosecuted, so posted them on a specially created page on the social network, which he registered using his friend.

During the course of the trial, he pleaded guilty and expressed remorse.

The court sentenced him to 9 months in prison. work with deduction of 10% of earnings in state income.
