As, by the way, and the collapse of the USSR.

True, he connects this not with market freedoms, but with the advent of a benefactor named Putin V.V. Why he functionally needs aggressors, pests, enemies of the people and their minions. Otherwise from whom?

As well as about the acute need to protect the conquest of the fraternal Afghan people, which was dictated by sacred international duty. In general, the sacred, powerful, incomplete, inextricable, indestructible and unbending was almost as much as now sacred, spiritual, one and invincible.

But what, in fact, has changed over 25 years? Oh, a lot. Then in the frame were Marx, Engels and Lenin, and now a completely different person, more worthy in all respects. But the same always alive and invincible. All -powerful because it is true. Which, of course, inspires hope: the changes come just when, it seems, all the holes are shut up and the cracks are boarded up. Another question is whether they will be for the better.

I think the appearance of this other person is natural and inevitable. Just like perestroika, along with her failure, and then the troubled time. This is all the continuation of the disaster that erupted over the country in 1917 and led to the emergence of a barbaric system of values, which proclaimed contempt for a free human person with an unconditional good.

This requires alternative institutions that you can rely on - such as, for example, the Catholic Church in Poland or state institutions of West Germany after its reunion with the eastern. In Yeltsinsky Russia, they tried to make a hastily chopped oligarchy with such an institution - but it also seemed more profitable for him to agree with the security forces and in the fight against the threat of red revenge to build what was later called the Putin’s consensus elite.

Putin was (possibly) a compromise intermediate solution guaranteeing the preservation of the foundations of private property, a market economy, the interests of a new centralized nomenclature and - which is always extremely important for Russia - the territorial integrity of the state.

We must pay tribute - Putin coped with all this. Or maybe the power of the old nomenclature in the person of Luzhkov -Primakov or Zyuganov -Makashov would be better? Other alternatives at the turn of the zero years were somehow not visible. From his own experience, starting from the Second Chechen War, he understood too well that the people who remained deeply Soviet need sovereign rhetoric, regional elites - the opportunity to milk controlled territories, and to the security forces - to roof a business, which, in turn, agreed to share - if only they would not kill.

The result was what happened. The most fat pieces - primarily raw materials - quickly moved to faithful people; With the regions, a successfully functioning model of corruption buying out loyalty was built; Financial flows and state institutions are taken under total administrative control. And here it is, powerful vertical! She went rooted in the simple interests of the new class of people under the conditional name “Burnes” - the Union of Business and the Bureaucracy, in which over time the position of the bureaucracy became stronger, and business - more dependent.

Well, let him give in! While oil is in the hill, you can spit on the groans of the liberal public at ease from this slide. All “men”, worthy of rights, safely attached themselves to the vertical “Burnes” and have their own piece.

The problem is that this intermediate and rotten design earlier or later ceases to cope with the growing number of external and internal challenges. And then, in order to recover the decreasing rating, the guards of the Motherland have to go again on the familiar path of a small victorious war, which, against the background of growing corruption, a decrease in raw materials conjuncture, revaluation of his own significance and ridiculous attempts to play the role of the Soviet leader leads to economic, geopolitical and media defeat. And there is no other protection from him, except for the iron curtain, censorship, more and more primitive lies, repression and return to the status of an ordinary Asian tyrant.

They will not allow the second restructuring. They cannot return to competitive elections. The internal and external obligations are not capable of fulfilling the undertaken. It remains to be desperate to lie, bluff and scare the disgusting world with a nuclear button.

The Stalinist heritage is a terrible thing. He takes out and kills through generations. He had a chance to leave after the second period. He could not: he liked to be a leader, he did not want to be a retired like Gorbachev or Yeltsin. A person is weak - on this occasion in more advanced societies, democracy was invented.
