The administration of Kaliningrad, after lengthy legal proceedings, issued a permit to the Jewish community to build a synagogue.
8 June 2015, it became known that in pursuance of the decision of the Arbitration Court Kaliningrad region, the Jewish community of Kaliningrad received permission to construction of a synagogue on Oktyabrskaya street.
Recall that in mid-January 2015, the court invalidated the city ban on the construction of the synagogue until obtaining permits. The site for the construction of the synagogue was allocated to the community in March 2011 in memory and on the site of the synagogue destroyed in the war. However, in 2013 the city administration applied to the Central District Court of Kaliningrad, which banned construction.
