In Kurgan, the “Muslim Fortress” was recognized as extremist for the second time in a month.

The Kurgan city court recognized as extremist yet another, the fourth in a row, edition of the book "The Muslim Fortress".

June 11, 2015 it became known that the Kurgan city the court recognized the book "Fortress of a Muslim" (Nalchik, 2004) as extremist material. The decision has entered into force.

The court agreed with the claim of the prosecutor's office of Kurgan, which, based on the conclusions of the examination, considered that the book " contains information aimed at promoting the exclusivity and superiority of Islam over other religions, as well as at incitement of religious hatred and enmity towards people, it is not professing, and a hidden motivation for violent actions against such people ."

In May 2015, the Kurgan City Court already recognized as extremist three editions of the book "The Muslim Fortress" (M.: Umma, 2009; 2010 and M.: "Publisher Ezhaev A.K.", 2006). Recall that another stereotypical edition of the "Muslim Fortress" (M.: Umma, 2008) was recognized as extremist in among other books banned by the Leninsky District Court of Orenburg in March 2012 year, but the decision of the Orenburg Regional Court of February 27, 2015 was from the list of extremist materials is excluded .

Obviously, the prosecutor's office of Kurgan decided to follow the path a total ban on all publications of the Muslim Fortress in Russian.

In our opinion, this book is recognized as extremist illegally. As a reminder, we welcomed the exclusion of "Fortress Muslim" from the Federal List of Extremist Materials, and to We are extremely negative about the second ban on this work.
