In Abakan, Jehovah's Witnesses were fined for preaching on the streets of the city

On June 17, 2015, it became known that Abakan City Court fined representatives of the Local Religious organization of Jehovah's Witnesses "Yuzhnaya, Abakan" for preaching at the railway station area.

Concerning believers an administrative case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organization or holding of a public event without filing in accordance with the established procedure for notification of the event). The fine amounted to 70 thousand rubles.
