A wooden church, an architectural monument, burned down in the Moscow region. The possibility of arson cannot be ruled out.
On June 19, 2015, in the village of Vasilievskoye, Serpukhov district, the existing wooden St. Nicholas Church of the 17th century burned down. The investigation is considering the possibility of arson.
The temple was an architectural monument. The district administration plans to begin collecting funds for the restoration of the temple.
