On June 29, 2015, residents of the Altai Territory were convicted of a series of hate crimes.

On June 29, 2015, the Moscow District Military Court delivered a verdict in a criminal case against residents of the Altai Territory Alexander Leshchev and three minors. Depending on the role and degree of participation, they were found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public calls for terrorist activities), Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred), paras. "a, b" hh. 1, 2 art. 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy motivated by national hatred), Part 4 of Art. 150 of the Criminal Code (involvement of minors in the commission of a crime motivated by ethnic hatred).

It was established that one of the juvenile defendants in 2013-2014 posted on the Internet a video recording, seven texts and images " containing information calling for the implementation of terrorist activities, substantiating and justifying the need for terrorism ."

In April 2014, at a public transport stop in Barnaul, he sprayed gas from a cylinder in the face of a man, shouting xenophobic insults.

In addition, three young people sprayed irritant gas in the cafe where the employees and visitors were. The reason for committing this offense was that citizens of Uzbekistan worked as cooks in the cafe.

On the night of May 9, 2014, two minors under the leadership of Leshchev distributed leaflets with " statements degrading the dignity of citizens " at the entrances of houses in Barnaul.

When preparing to set fire to another cafe in Barnaul, where people of non-Slavic appearance worked, they were detained by law enforcement officers.

When sentencing, the court took into account that all the defendants had reached the age of 18 years. The court sentenced them to real imprisonment for a term of 2.5 to 3 years. Leshchev was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison.

The court verdict has not entered into force yet .
