In Nizhny Novgorod, a Nazi skinhead was rehabilitated under the article of participation in an extremist community

In Nizhny Novgorod, Alexander Degtyarev, convicted in 2010 for murder and attempted murder, was rehabilitated under Part 2 of Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code (participation in an extremist community).
The verdict of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court dated June 15, 2010 in respect of Alexander Degtyarev in part of the conviction under Part 2 of Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code (participation in an extremist community) was canceled by the cassation ruling of the Judicial Collegium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of October 14, 2010 on the basis of paragraph 2 of part 1 of Art. 24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation (in the absence of corpus delicti). On June 3, 2013, the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court recognized the right to rehabilitation in this part for A. Degtyarev.

Recall that on June 15, 2010, the court of the Nizhny Novgorod region sentenced to life imprisonment with serving a sentence in a strict regime colony one of the members of the ultra-right group of Nazi skinheads, accused of a series of murders and attempted murders. In addition, another member of the group was sentenced to 9.5 years in prison, another skinhead - to 10 years in prison with a sentence in a strict regime colony. Later, in December 2010, the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation changed the sentence of three Nazi skinheads sentenced to long terms of imprisonment for extremism and arson of the building of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs. The verdict of the court of the Nizhny Novgorod region in relation to those convicted under Part 1, Part 2 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code (organization of an extremist community), Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code (vandalism) was canceled due to the absence of corpus delicti in their actions.
