New attack on the exhibition in Manege

On August 26, a man and a woman damaged another exhibit of the exhibition of Soviet sculptures in Manege, promising to destroy the entire exhibition.

On August 26, 2015, there was a second attack on the exhibition “Sculptures We Don’t See.” A man and a woman walked around the exhibition shouting “Now we will destroy you!” One of Vadim Sidur’s works was suddenly torn down.

According to the press secretary of the Manege museum and exhibition association Alena Karneeva, the work on linoleum from the “101” series was damaged.

Police detained two suspects.

Let us recall that on August 14, 2015, members of the “God’s Will” organization destroyed the same exhibition, declaring the exhibits to be offensive to religious feelings. Sources
