The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin on the air of the Inter television channel announced the start of work on the formation of a list of sanctions in relation to persons involved in detentions and courts over Ukrainian citizens Oleg Sentsov and Nadezhda Savchenko.

The minister believes that the Sentsov-Savchenko list is definitely needed. “I will“ punch him ”with European colleagues, with American colleagues. To do this, we need the support of the parliament. And these will be sanctions against those who directly took part in these false, immoral actions against Sentsov, Kolchenko, Nadi (Savchenko - approx.), In relation to all, ”the minister emphasized.

Today he promised to meet with his mother Savchenko and discuss with her further actions to liberate his daughter.

Sentsov on August 25 was found by the North Caucasian Military Court guilty of preparing terrorist attacks in Crimea in 2014 and sentenced to 20 years in a maximum security colony. Kolchenko, who passed in the same case, received 10 years in a maximum security colony. Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko is accused of complicity of killing two Russian journalists and illegally crossing the border of the Russian Federation.
