Activists of the St. Petersburg “Motherland” are trying to create an international national conservative movement

We have at our disposal a letter sent to a number of Western far-right and national-populist parties and organizations. Dated letter dated July 27, 2015 and signed by Yuriy Lubomirsky, who introduces himself as chairman of the organizing committee of the World National Conservative Movement. Recall Y. Lubomirsky is a prominent figure in the St. Petersburg branch of the Rodina party (formerly - KPRF) and the organizer of the well-known forum of European and Russian far-right in St. Petersburg in March of this year. Obviously, we are talking about continuing the same process of building an international cooperation with the – so far indirect – participation of the Rodina party.

The manifesto and the text of the invitation are expected to oppose liberalism, multiculturalism, tolerance and globalization (and at the same time against communism, Nazism and Islamism as false alternatives) in support of national sovereignty, "traditional values". New coalition movement proposed to be created in order to support a possible conservative revolution, although in one country - as prerequisites for a general liberation from "global bondage".

The project of the program involves a very diverse activities from the development of the ideology of national conservatism to humanitarian assistance to some groups - “Kosovo Serbs, residents of Novorossiya, Christians Middle East, etc. The last mentioned task is to organize common training camps for combat and sports training and the formation of "international brigades" in the zones armed conflicts.

Of greatest interest is the list of invitees organizations and individuals. Attached in PDF format .

Potential Russian participants are presented only "Rodina", the Russian Imperial Movement (RID) and the Russian National Cultural center, which is headed by Lubomirsky, although the composition invited to the March forum was much wider.

Among the invited foreigners - many (but not all!) well-known national-populist and far-right parties in Europe and beyond Europe, including the Hungarian Jobbik, the Polish New Right (Kongres Nowej Prawicy), the Greek Golden Dawn (these three are parliamentary parties), the Slovak National Party, the Serbian the Radical Party, the German National Democrats (NPD), the British National Party, and also many small organizations and even individuals, including famous before, but lost the influence of David Duke (USA, emigrated long ago) or Udo Vojta (Germany). There is even a movement close to the NPD, founded by Germans of Russian origin (Die Russlanddeutschen Konservativen). The geographic latitude is remarkable - from Chile to Thailand.

It is equally remarkable that the list as a whole looks quite chaotic and even contains obvious errors, which indicates a lack of seriousness this project.

We do not yet know which of the invitees responded and whether the real process of the formation of an international movement has begun at all. Bye one can only assume that many of those invited will refuse to participate in such potential partners and such organizers.
