In Grozny, an administrative case on the distribution of extremist materials against the owner of an Islamic goods store was brought to court.
September 8, 2015 it became known about the administrative case under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination of extremist materials), initiated in against Fariza Ustarkhanova, a resident of Grozny, owner of an Islamic goods. The case was sent to the Staropromyslovsky District Court of Grozny for consideration on the merits.
During an inspection of retail outlets conducted in August by the prosecutor's office of the republic together with the Federal Security Service for the Chechen Republic, the Department for Relations with Religious and public organizations of the Administration of the Head and Government of the Chechen Republic, as well as the Spiritual Spiritual Administration of the Chechen Republic, Ustarkhanova was found to have several books, included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
Unfortunately, we do not know which particular books the possession of which attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies, but we recall that most of the prohibitions of religious literature is wrong.
